Department: Health and Safety (HSE)
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- PGIS / ADIS / NEBOSH
Experience: 4 to 8 years of relevant experience (Preferred Road Projects Exposure)
Job Location: PKG – CG-03 – Village – Hatma, Teshil – Baderajpur, Dist – Kondagaon, Chhattisgarh – 494347 for Development of Six-Lane Greenfield under Raipur – Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor in the state of Chhattisgarh on Hybrid Annuity Mode [HAM]
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites, equipment, and machinery.
- Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct site-specific safety orientation for new employees and sub-contractors.
- Provide ongoing safety training and toolbox talks.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards.
- Compile detailed incident reports and conduct root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
Conduct drills to evaluate emergency procedures and response readiness. - Promote a culture of safety through communication and awareness programs.
- Encourage active participation from site personnel on safety matters.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and training sessions.
- Ensure all safety permits and licenses are up-to-date and accessible.
