Job Description:

TATA Consulting Engineers Limited (TCE) is looking for an experienced Heavy Lift Erection Engineer to join our team in Jamnagar, Gujarat. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects with a leading engineering consultancy firm.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning & Coordination:

• Plan and coordinate heavy lift and erection activities, including resource allocation and scheduling.

2. Site Surveys & Risk Assessments:

• Conduct site surveys and risk assessments to determine lift requirements and potential hazards.

3. Lifting Plans & Procedures:

• Design and develop lifting plans, schemes, and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.

4. Supervision & Direction:

• Supervise and direct rigging teams during lift operations to ensure compliance with safety standards.

5. Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout all operations.

6. Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve any technical issues that may arise.

7. Quality Control:

• Implement quality control measures to ensure precise and accurate installations.

8. Troubleshooting:

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the erection and commissioning phases.

9. Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, reports, and records for all lift operations.

10. Mentorship:

• Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians, sharing your expertise and experience.
