Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a background in designing power systems for chemical and petrochemical complexes? IBI Chematur Engineering & Consultancy Ltd. is looking for a Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer (Design) to join our team and contribute to high-impact projects in the engineering sector.
Position: Senior/Lead Electrical Engineer (Design)
- Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
- Experience Required: 8 to 10+ years
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
- Electrical Power System Design: Develop electrical power systems for chemical and petrochemical complexes, including HT switchyards, transformers, MV and LV switchboards, emergency DG sets, electrical distribution networks, protection systems, SCADA, and substation automation systems.
- Equipment Specifications: Prepare specifications, data sheets, and technical bid analyses. Review vendor drawings for electrical equipment and prepare load lists, SLDs, and calculations for basic equipment like transformers, diesel generators, MCC, power and control cables, battery chargers, and UPS systems.
- Standards Compliance: Familiarity with relevant Indian and international codes and standards for electrical design.
- Technical Expertise: Ensure technical accuracy in the preparation of specifications, data sheets, technical bid analysis, and vendor drawing reviews.
- Project Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the timely and quality execution of engineering projects.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 8 to 10+ years of experience in electrical power system design associated with chemical and petrochemical engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in designing power systems, protection systems, SCADA, substation automation, and preparing technical specifications.
- Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with Indian and international electrical design standards.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct technical bid analyses and review vendor drawings for compliance with project specifications.
