IOCL is offering dynamic career opportunities for aspiring professionals through its Apprentice Program. We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled candidates to fill the following positions:

Positions Available:

• Trade Apprentice
• Technician Apprentice
• Graduate Apprentice

Job Location: Across India

Stipend: As Per Government Norms

Qualifications:

Trade Apprentice: Matric with a regular full-time 2-year ITI course (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist) recognized by NCVT/SCVT.

Technician Apprentice: 3 years regular full-time Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time Graduate (BBA/B.A/B.Com/B.Sc) in any discipline.

Age Limit (as of 31 July 2024): 18 to 24 Years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 05 Years
• OBC: 03 Years
• PWBD: 10 Years

Selection Methodology:

• Selection is based on marks obtained in the Online Test and meeting the notified eligibility criteria.
• The Online Test consists of Objective Type MCQs with four options and one correct answer.

Assessment Parameters:

For Trade Apprentice (Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist) & Technician Apprentice (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics):

• Technical Acumen in the relevant discipline
• Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning Abilities
• Basic English Language Skills

For Trade Apprentice – Graduate Apprentice (BBA/BA/B.Com/B.Sc.):

• Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning Abilities
• Basic English Language Skills

Candidates must qualify each stage: Online Test (Minimum 40%, relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PwBD categories), document verification, and Pre-engagement medical fitness. Candidates should ensure medical fitness as per Indian Oil’s standards and review the “Guidelines and Criteria for Physical Fitness for Pre-Engagement Medical Examination” available at IOCL Guidelines.

Concessions / Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC(NCL-Non Creamy Layer) candidates applying for Unreserved (UR) seats must meet the standards for General category candidates.
