The Opportunity

Position: Mechanical Engineers

• Number of Positions: 2
• Notice Period: Immediate to Max. 30 days
• Type of Employment: Contractual, renewable based on performance
• Salary Range: Max CTC of 7.2 LPA (Transportation provided; accommodation to be arranged by selected candidates)
• Educational Qualifications: Diploma / BE – Mechanical
• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in industrial projects
• Place of Posting: Jharsuguda (Site Based)

Brief Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer at Tata Projects Ltd., you will be responsible for:

• Acting as the main coordinator at the project site, managing cross-functional interfaces.
• Planning project site activities in coordination with the Resident Construction Manager and Client.
• Proficiently studying drawings and extracting key information.
• Engaging in cross-functional interfaces with Client/Vendor/Mechanical Erection.
• Reviewing and implementing approved QAP during inspection.
• Demonstrating basic knowledge of Lifting/Erection Practices.
• Generating reports for Clients for Quality/Progress & look ahead plans.
• Proficiently managing Piping Fabrication & Erection/Pumps/Valves/Air Receiver till Mechanical completion.
• Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce.
• Communicating effectively with clients and attending regular meetings.
• Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Assisting in resolving technical difficulties and other problems.
• Ensuring safety and project quality assurance/quality control.
